How to Remove Press-Ons

Removing Sticky Tabs

  1.  Use the cuticle pusher and gently pry under wherever the false nail is lifting
  2. Clean your nails of the remaining residue, and be sure to clean your press-ons with an alcohol pad
  3. Apply cuticle oil and hand cream after each removal to keep your hands and nails healthy

If your nails aren’t lifting already, you can soak your hand in a bowl of hot water, oil, and dish soap for at least five minutes for a more gentle removal process.

Removing Nail Glue

  1. Soak your hand in a bowl of hot water, oil, and dish soap for 5-20 minutes.
  2. Use the cuticle pusher and gently pry under wherever the false nail is starting to lift
  3. Clean your natural nails of the remaining residue, and be sure to clean your press-ons with an alcohol pad
  4. Apply cuticle oil and hand cream after each removal to keep your hands and nails healthy

We do not recommend using acetone when removing our press-ons. Although it breaks down the glue faster, the nails will be damaged and unreusable.
